Description of tool use: In the examples provided, CBSG philosophy, process design, and group principles are described with reference to their application in one of CBSG’s signature products – the Population and Habitat Viability Assessment (PHVA) workshop. However, they are also applicable to other planning contexts and methods.

Experience and expertise required to use the tool: Ideally, users would have undergone some training in CBSG facilitation techniques.

Data requirements: Not applicable.

Costs: There are no costs associated with this tool, except for those associated with hiring specialist facilitators.
