CBSG's Annual Meeting was held in Budapest, Hungary on 24-26 August
2007. We would like to thank the Budapest Zoo for hosting our meeting,
and all the participants for their hard work.
Over 90
participants from 24 countries attended the meeting and the symposium
on climate change. Participants formed 11 working groups on a wide
range of topics including Global Climate Change, Gharial conservation, Global Species Management Planning, and the Amphibian Ark. Final working group reports will be available in
our Newsletter this winter.
We are also pleased to announce
that the 2007 Ulysses S. Seal award for Innovation in Conservation was
given to Paul Pearce-Kelly.
