CBSG promotes and facilitates linkages between ex situ and in situ conservation efforts by providing a credible and neutral forum for diverse partners to collaborate and use science to solve difficult species conservation problems. For over 30 years, CBSG has been the mechanism through which zoos, aquariums, and other organizations with intensively managed populations provide expertise to the SSC.
As the planet struggles to maintain biodiversity, the demand for our conservation planning expertise is intensifying. In order to fulfill our mission, we rely on your contribution. Your support enables us to continue our efforts to preserve nature, and without it we could not continue our work to save threatened species.
By supporting CBSG, you add value to your institution’s conservation resources by becoming part of a bigger conservation partnership, which achieves results that go beyond what individuals and institutions can do on their own.
None of our important work would be possible without our generous and loyal donors. CBSG donor institutions and individuals are recognized in all CBSG publications and on the CBSG website. They receive a copy of our Annual Report, highlighting CBSG’s work and successes. Institutional donors also receive a slide-set of these successes, and are invited to add their logo to these slides and use them in presentations to their staff, board, and community to highlight the conservation contributions their institution makes through support of CBSG.
